Winter Tonic Workshop

In this 2 1/2 hour workshop, you will make your own apple cider vinegar using an already established mother culture. We will explore the benefits of this ancient practice, how it can be adapted to use other fruits, the microbial reasons why it works and what to do to prevent unsuccessful attempts at home. We will then use already made vinegar to create your own version of Fire Cider, a warming tonic that infuses potent plant compounds to boost the immune system and keep it strong until rejuvenating Spring returns. Light refreshments will be served.
