If you haven’t yet been a lucky patron at one of the city’s boisterous Latin clubs, Toñita Fest might be your chance to learn the ropes from a legend. Named to honor Maria Antonia Cay, better known in Brooklyn as Toñita, the legendary owner and matriarch of Williamsburg’s fifty-something-year-old Caribbean Social Club, this festival brings together the vibrant Puerto Rican and Latin community for a day of joyous salsa dancing, frenetic domino matches, plus bites and drinks to share.
