How to Create the Perfect Instagram-Ready Table Setting with Judy Kim and MUJI USA

In celebration of their 10 year anniversary in the United States, Japanese lifestyle brand, MUJI, will host a series of Instagram Workshops beginning this October at their newly opened Williamsburg location. These events mark the beginning of an ongoing community-engaging workshop series for the brand. This will also be MUJI’s first U.S. activation done in collaboration with local artists and artisans to pay homage to Brooklyn’s vibrant creative scene.

New York City-based Instagrammers Alice Gao, Judy Kim, and Zachary Smith will each host an hour-long workshop in-store at MUJI Williamsburg that covers how to style, shoot, and post the perfect Instagram using MUJI products across three different categories: Illustration, Food, and Travel.

Judy Kim is a well-respected food stylist,recipe developer and photographer based in New York City with over 64,000 followers. Her work has appeared in Vogue, Real Simple, In Style, New York Magazine, Huffington Post, and Forbes, among others. Her past clients have included Canon, Netflix, Sotheby’s, Ghirardelli and Sabra. As a food prop stylist and a chef, Judy is an expert at arranging a beautiful table setting. As such, Judy will be guiding workshop participants through how to capture a great table setting using MUJI’s dinnerware and table.
