Nathan’s Famous Hot Dog Eating Contest

This is perhaps the world’s most premiere eating competition. A pyramid of hot dogs. Ten minutes. And 10 very hungry eaters with something to prove, especially with 17-time champion Joey Chestnut on the stage. Come early to witness the pre-game festivities, including musical and variety acts, then stay for a full day. The women’s Championship starts at 11 a.m.; the men’s Championship kicks off at 12:30 p.m. If all that competitive eating hasn’t made you lose your appetite, you can order a few glizzies yourself (or a plate of raw clams and frog legs) and take a warm stroll down the boardwalk.
