Unraveling the Recipe

This class is a new iteration of our popular Everyday Improvisation class. In this class, instead of starting with a grab bag of ingredients, we begin instruction with a specific dish. Then we identify the separate ingredients and techniques used in that dish, turning them into starting points for a variety of other original dishes. You’ll learn how to pull apart and build on individual ingredients, using them to create your own zero-waste, original meals.

In this interactive class, you’ll learn the fundamentals of practical, everyday improvisation and kitchen flow; the ability to walk into your kitchen, without a plan, and put together something delicious to eat. In just one class, you’ll become a more resourceful, nimble, even sophisticated cook. All skill levels welcome.
