Showcase School Visit at P.S. 216

According to the organizers:
During this site visit, you’ll see how engaging in a kitchen and garden education can impact students’ social-emotional development as well as their ability to approach academic work in creative and non-traditional ways. Visitors will learn how to engage students, staff, and the greater community in garden care, and how to promote healthier eating habits.
Additionally, visitors will gain resources and ideas for how to incorporate these practices even if they do not have access to a kitchen or garden.
Open to all types of educators. You must register to attend.
