La Superior taqueria kicks off the launch of its spiffy new taco truck with a taco and dance party all day (they say) tomorrow in front of their less mobile location at 295 Berry Street in Southside Williamburg.

It’s not often there’s a call for city farmers, but East New York Farms! has put out exactly that. The group is expanding their acreage to a now-vacant lot on the corner of Hendrix and Livonia Avenues.
Perhaps next week’s Good Dairy event should’ve been called Excellent Dairy. Judging by the lineup of decadent dairy and delightful drinks our vendors will be serving on April 25th, it looks like we’re in for a fabulous evening. And what could be more appropriate for our nightlong ode to dairy than the big, white space at the Openhouse Gallery on Mott Street in Nolita?

This just in: In June the first Fleisher’s Meats–meaning the original retail outlet in Kingston–will teach a day-long $300 class in pork slaughter and butchery, complete with a farm visit, some hands-on sausage-making and three meals.
