FROM OUR RECIPE ARCHIVES: Local Berry Rosado Cocktail

Finger Lakes Distilling
With the exception of malted barley, all of Finger Lakes Distilling’s starter grains are from New York State.

Hot days like today call for cold drinks. In our last issue of Edible Manhattan, Jessie Cacciola took us on a tour of Finger Lakes Distilling–one of New York state’s first small-batch spirits startups, which produces handcrafted whiskeys, floral vodkas and fruity liqueurs made from crops grown in the Empire state. Her story featured a recipe for an all local cocktail called the Local Berry Rosado, which is served at Nick and Toni’s in Manhattan. What better way to beat the heat and gear up for Eat Drink Local Week?
