The theme for this year’s TEDx Manhattan conference, “Changing the Way We Eat,” couldn’t be dearer to our hearts: to explore the food system as we shift to a more sustainable way of eating and farming. The list of speakers includes serious movers and shakers in the food movement, like Back Forty’s Peter Hoffman (read the feature we ran about him here in our magazine) and professional forager Tama Matsuoka Wong (also covered here in our magazine). Sadly for us (and most of you) tickets are way sold out. The good news is we can all tune in to the conference online here where it will be livestreaming this Saturday, February 16th, from 10:30am – 6:00pm (Eastern standard time). And if watching the talks alone sounds less than fun, click here to learn how you can attend a viewing party or host your own. It’s your chance to add your voice to the conversation on food and sustainability.
