The Wild Honey Pie Presents: A Dinner Party with Del Water Gap, November 19
The Wild Honey Pie, a music discovery community dedicated to showcasing emerging artists, celebrates 10 years with a dinner party at the cosy Greenpoint Italian restaurant Le Fanfare. The evening will feature musical guest Del Water Gap, a solo project from songwriter S. Holden Jaffe. Luxuriate in the band’s expansive, laidback sound, accompanied by a rustic three-course dinner paired with Italian wines and cocktails. With house-made pastas, farm-fresh veggies, and sustainably sourced seafood on the menu, it’s sure to be a perfect cold weather pick-me-up.

MUNCHIES Guide to Dinner with Culinary Director Farideh Sadeghin, November 21
VICE’s food and culture site MUNCHIES launches their new cookbook, MUNCHIES Guide to Dinner, which has everything you need to know about finessing dinner—and then some. Join MUNCHIES food director Farideh Sadeghin for a conversation moderated by The New Yorker’s roving food correspondent Helen Rosner, a Q&A, and plenty of snacks from the cookbook, including Onion Dip and Potato Chips, Pimento Cheese Arancine, and Good for Everything Chocolate Cake.

Brooklyn Winery Tour and Tasting, November 18
Your local winery opens its doors for an exclusive tour of the premises. Learn about the process and challenges of urban winemaking, followed by a tasting featuring a selection of winemaker Connor McCormack’s unique, small batch wines. If you’d like to stick around afterwards, head to their wine bar for a glass and some of the kitchen’s seasonal shared plates.

Rooftop Reds Lasagna Supper Sundays, November 17–December 15
The skyline vineyard and wine bar Rooftop Reds kicks off their winter “wine-down”supper series. Every Sunday through mid-december; they’ll be serving a lasagna dinner, accompanied by olive bread, salad, and a glass of their house wine or beer. Relax, enjoy city views from the Brooklyn Navy Yard, and partake in a comforting, wintry meal.

The Well’s 5th Anniversary, November 16–17
Warehouse pub The Well celebrates five years of pouring craft beers for Brooklynites. They’re collaborating with five breweries for new drafts exclusively available at the party, although you can pick up cans of  Hudson Valley x The Well “An Enduring Thing,” (malted oat, milk sugar, blueberry purée, and coconut flakes hopped with Galaxy). On draft: Finback “Chai Banana Latte,” Interboro “Five-miere,” KCBC “Janiak Maniac,” and Other Half “Quiet Space,” plus dozens of beers from Allagash, Fox Farm, The Answer, and more. Food will be available from Del Sur and Pie Culture.
