In preparation for our sold out “How to Prepare a Korean Feast” event at the Brooklyn Brewery, we’re already looking to exercise our Korean cooking skills. We checked in with Brooklyn-based Korean BBQ sauce and marinade company We Rub You (one of our Notable Edibles) to see if they would be willing to share a pointer or two. Lucky for us, we got the recipe for the dish that they’ll be serving at tomorrow’s event: Korean pork and scallion pancakes.
When asked about how they chose the dish for the evening, co-founders and sisters Ann and Janet Chung said that they took inspiration from their CSA share from Southside. Since they’ll be discussing the essential ingredients for Korean home cooking tomorrow at #KoreanFeast, they thought it would be fun to “Koreanify” their CSA goods (pork and eggs in this case) for event participants.
Now when it comes to preparing your own Korean feast, you don’t really have an excuse!
