Tomorrow Night Taste India, Mexico and Austria (and More) in the Lower East Side’s Angel Orensanz Center

From Eat Drink Local Week to Good Beer, Edible is known for throwing some of the most delicious food and drink-focused events in the city. Here’s two coming up soon you won’t want to miss:

Edible Escape on Wednesday, October 19th at the Angel Orensanz Center. Between the Gildas from Txikito and Chana Masala Rolls from Kati Roll, there will be plenty of food at Edible Escape next Wednesday evening. But what’s food without drink? We’ve got that covered as well, with Beer from Stella Artois to wine from Austria to The Darjeeling Unlimited, a concoction of Tuthilltown bourbon and Harney and Sons tea. For the rest of the line-up, check out Edible Manhattan’s events page.

How to Milk It on Wednesday, October 26th at the Brooklyn Brewery. Once upon a time, people in Brooklyn churned their own butter. We’re bringing back the practice for one evening in our latest installment of our How-To series in Williamsburg. Butter churning and cheese-aging are just two items on the agenda. Join us on the 26th to see what else we have in store.
