Casa Publica
594 Union Ave.
From queso fundido to pollo en mole casero, this stylish Mexican restaurant hits the spot with classic appetizers and dishes, as well as a taco menu. The agave spirits flow, as well, with a range of mezcal cocktails and three takes on the margarita.

DOC Wine Bar Restaurant
83 N. 7th St.
Stefano Baldantoni, executive chef since 2002, grew up in Emilia Romagna, a region of northern Italy, and guests can expect a classic menu (as well as a vegan meatball made with mushrooms, lentils, seitan and potatoes). The wine list is extensive and curated, with a large selection of skin-contact options and by-the-glass prices topping out at a reasonable $14 each.

Dunwell Doughnuts
222 Montrose Ave.
No one knows these doughnuts are vegan unless they know that this is the place to go. From peanut butter and jelly to blueberry to a classic chocolate glazed, this East Williamsburg staple opened in 2011 and has not slowed down since.

Fortunato Bros
289 Manhattan Ave.
One need not head to Little Italy in Manhattan or the Bronx for traditional Italian-American pastries, from cannoli to rainbow cookies to sfogliatelle. Fortunato Bros has it all, in a large, unassuming space that screams “old Williamsburg.” Sit here in the morning with an espresso and a pastry to get a taste of that nostalgia.

Hotel Delmano
82 Berry St.
For a classic cocktail in a classic setting, Hotel Delmano provides a dark space without signage and a tight small plates menu and a raw bar—perfect pairings for martinis, Manhattans, and even their seasonal selections. For Spring 2019, try the “Purple Rain,” with butterfly pea tea infused pisco, dimmi, lime, agave, orgeat, and egg white.

Think Coffee
10 Devoe St.
Founded in 2006, Think has made an equitable supply chain in coffee their goal. Every item in their cafés, as well, is compostable, as they hope to make their shops as eco-friendly as possible. And the coffee itself? It’s excellent.

Uva Wine & Spirits
237 Bedford Ave.
For the funky and the traditional, as well as local spirits and globally recognizable labels, this Williamsburg mainstay has been the go-to for years. Now in a smaller location down the block from its original, the quality of the selection has not not dwindled with the decrease in square footage.

In partnership with Edible Brooklyn, Cinch will be holding a “Taste of Summer” Culinary Week in Carroll Gardens and Cobble Hill from 6/27 to 7/7. Restaurants and bars around these neighboring communities will showcase their summer flavors, and locals can discover great new spots around the corner—and enjoy a special offer when they pay with Cinch. Cinch is all about the spirit of exploration in your own backyard, and aims to connect local businesses and residents on a deeper level.
