For the 10th year, we assembled the region’s best wineries and some of our favorite restaurants on Thursday, May 26, for Brooklyn Uncorked: an all-you-can-eat-and-drink wine tasting event. Hundreds of readers joined us at 26Bridge in DUMBO to taste wines ranging from the Finger Lakes and Long Island to right here in Brooklyn.
Refreshing pours arrived just in time to beat the summer’s sudden heat, with vendors including Navy Yards–based Rooftop Reds, one of New York City’s newest wineries. Chef Jacques Gautier of Palo Santo had guests lining up for his amazing made-on-site tacos, The Norm at Brooklyn Museum served up delicious grilled Japanese eggplant, and the lamb sausage crostini from Runner & Stone had folks returning for seconds and thirds.
You can see a full list of participants on the event page and scroll through some highlights in the gallery above.
Many thanks to everyone who made it out, and if you missed it, be sure to join us on July 28 for Good Beer: It’s a tasting event like Brooklyn Uncorked, but with suds.
