Ellabess on Elizabeth Street in Manhattan is one of the restaurants that will be participating in our upcoming Good Spirits cocktail party (speaking of which, you can get a ticket for the winter versionof our seasonal drinks event here), and they will be offering a four-course New Year’s Eve menu for $85 per person. From bay scallop crudo with American caviar, smoked apples and dill to butter Poached Lobster with blood orange beurre blanc and frisée, it’s a wonderful way to start 2012. The Beagle, another Manhattan Good Spirits participant this year, also has delicious plans for New Year’s Eve. They will be offering two seatings (the early one is $65, the late one is $85) for a four-course feast that starts with a confit quail leg with sauerkraut mayo and wraps up with peanut butter and jelly eclairs.
