Two of our favorite borough organizations are currently on the hunt for fall interns. Here’s the scoop:

1. BK Farmyards. This multi-faceted group–dedicated to helping Brooklynites of all kinds produce food on unused land– is in our opinion one of the coolest things to hit the borough in years. (Want proof? Watch our recent NY1 segment on their backyard farming program here.) As they revamp the whole organization for an even better 2012, they are currently looking for a Youth Farm Instructor Apprentice, a Graphic Design Intern and an Operations Intern.

2. Purple Kale Kitchenworks. We profiled Ronna Welsh’s very, very cool catering and cooking workshops on our NY1 show a few months back (read and watch here) and can assure you you’ll learn plenty working by her side. She seeks Fall interns–positions are unpaid, but you could gain professional experience in a production kitchen, as well as recipe development and blog writing. She’s got complete information about the jobs and a questionnaire on her site.
