WASTED! The Story of Food Waste – A Screening and Discussion
You are invited to join the Brooklyn Borough President’s Office and the Brooklyn Solid Waste Advisory Board (SWAB) for our fall event! On Monday, October 15th, 2018 at 6pm at Brooklyn Borough Hall (209 Joralemon St.), join us for a screening and discussion of WASTED! The Story of Food Waste, an Award Winning Documentary from Executive Producer Anthony Bourdain.
New Yorkers waste 1.3 million tons of food every year, but this can change. The screening will be followed by a discussion featuring outstanding fellow New Yorkers working in this area every day.
This event and light refreshments generously provided by our sponsors: Bad Seed Hard Cider, EcoRich, NYS Association for Reduction, Reuse & Recycling, Sang Lee Farms, TOAST Ale, Vokashi, Waste Management, Wilklow Orchards and more to be announced!
This event is FREE but does require a ticket.
