Sumac & Smoke Iranian Picnic

Sumac & Smoke, a self-described Iranian picnic that creates spaces to gather around Persian culture, is bringing their kabobs and grills to Prospect Park. There will be plenty of jujeh (chicken) and koobideh (lamb) kabobs, balal (grilled corn), bastani (saffron-and-rose ice cream). Drinks provided by BiBi Bakery, an Iranian-owned micro-bakery in Brooklyn. Food and drink are free—you heard that right—while supplies last. But everyone is encouraged to bring a blanket, snacks, and drinks of your own too.
