Rooftop Summer Supper

According to the organizers:

The Youth Farm is a 1 acre educational farm located on the front lawn of the High School for Public Service, whose mission is to increase access to fresh, nutritious food and provide opportunities for all New Yorkers to increase their knowledge of the food system and build organic growing skills to sustain their communities. Our farm helps New Yorkers connect to nature, maintain agricultural knowledge and history, and provide leadership and green job training opportunities to youth and adults. We help cultivate diverse leadership, from all ages and backgrounds as part of our work.

Please join us on Tuesday, July 18th for our 3rd Annual Summer Supper!

This year, beloved Brooklyn chef Arden Lewis of Purslane has created a mouth watering menu that celebrates the vibrant cuisines of the Caribbean. With help from our summer youth Tillers, Arden will prepare a memorable meal infused with the diverse culinary traditions of various Caribbean cultures.

You will be transported via inspired bites and celebratory sounds atop the world’s largest rooftop farm. You’ll savor gorgeous views, and a delectable meal curated carefully with locally produced vegetables, dairy, meat and grains, complimented by locally produced wine and beer, and other non alcoholic Caribbean drinks. We will also have a fantastic raffle with lots of great prizes!

Your ticket purchase will support our work to train new farmers and provide enriching, exciting and eye opening farm-based learning opportunities for kids and adults from across New York City!
