Polychromatic Meal: 6 Courses in Support of New Women New Yorkers
May 23, 2017 @ 7:00 pm - 10:00 pm

According to the organizers:
In honor of Immigrant Heritage Month starting in June, join us to celebrate the work of New Women New Yorkers with a 6-course, vegetarian, color-driven dinner centered around the understanding that the beauty and vibrance of our city derives itself not only from the values each distinct immigrant group contributes, but also from the individuals within each group, composed of extensive variations, tongues and dialects, and beliefs.
A dinner created to highlight the colour Yellow, for example, can and must be made of any number of textures, shapes, scents and flavors.
In the comprehension of one another and as immigrants ourselves, there are only questions and within them, layers of undeniable discovery.
All proceeds will go towards New Women New Yorkers’ programs, which empower young immigrant women to get their first job in NYC and offer them with a safe space and community of support. The founder and director, Arielle, will be present at the dinner to share more about the work and impact of the organization.
