After successfully launching in 2016, Oxalis — a pop-up restaurant hosted by Mirazur (#6, World’s 50 Best Restaurants) and Restaurant Daniel-alum Chef Nico Russell — will be continuing in 2017 with a new dinner on Tuesday, February 28th. Oxalis will be continuing its residency at Egg Restaurant.
The pop-up hosts two seatings per evening: 6:30pm and 9pm, and will be releasing tickets starting January 10th. The tickets at Oxalis have been selling out within a week of each announcement, a reflection of the pop-up’s stunning success so far.
Each ticket will cost $85 per person and will be sold in bundles of two online at oxalisnyc.com. The neo-
bistro influenced menu will continue the same beloved format as last year, offering a seasonal progression of courses and generous beverages pairings, paced to bring both comfort and excitement to the pop-up’s diners.
Nico Russell, Executive Chef of Oxalis stated, “We are thrilled to see the positive response we have received. We were right: New Yorkers love thoughtful food but are hungry for more easygoing formats for dining out.”
The current dinners are a continuation of a successful series of dinners that have been taking place in Manhattan and Brooklyn since March of 2016. Oxalis has gained substantial recognition, including a write up in Brooklyn Magazine as well as being listed as one of NYC’s best values on Thrillist.
