The First Annual NYC Fermentation Festival to be held on Saturday, February 25th 2017, is a celebration of all things fermented from pickles, sauerkraut, and kimchi to cheese, miso, cider and beer! Fermentation is one of the oldest food preservation technologies in the world and flavors of fermentation are as diverse as they are delicious. Come to taste, learn and love in NYC’s robust and vibrant fermentation scene. This afternoon event will include:
~ Fermentation Expo – sample and purchase tastes for onsite consumption or takeaway
~ DIY Fermentation Guidance Help Desks – fermentation authorities to answer all questions
~ Educational Programming – fermentation seminars and demonstrations
