Get ready to pig out at Brooklyn Cider House’s 2nd Annual Fourth of July Pig Roast! On Thursday July 4th, Brooklyn Cider House will open its doors to all from noon to 9pm for a full day of Independence Day celebrations with a pig roast, live music, patio games and, of course, lots of cider! A whole suckling pig slow-cooked in a Caja China-style roasting box will be ready to enjoy from 1pm – 5pm, served as roast pork platters with a roll and coleslaw ($16) and roast pork sandwiches with coleslaw ($12). More food, beer, wine and cocktails will be available as well. Their spacious outdoor deck offers a great way to spend the day outside without leaving the city. Enjoy some good time with your friends playing Jumbo Jenga, listening to live music and tossing some bean bags in a cornhole. Four-legged friends are welcome too as the deck is dog friendly!
