Hot Hand Band at Threes Brewing

From the organizers:

Hot Hand Band is a Brooklyn-based multi-genre ensemble formed by trombonist/sousaphonist Kevin Moehringer in 2016.  The band has a flexible lineup, sometimes featuring trombone, bass and drums, other times featuring a sousaphone instead of a bass and an additional horn player or two. Their music ranges from low-key cool jazz to high energy New Orleans brass band music, and in between sometimes playing arrangements of contemporary dance, soul, hiphop songs, sometimes playing gospel and shout standards with vocals.  Kevin has become a staple of the NYC music community since moving there in 2006.  He has performed or recorded with artists such as The Walkmen, High And Mighty Brass Band, TV On The Radio, Lee “Scratch” Perry, and many more.
