Heunkuoa, a Laotian culinary pop-up by mother-daughter duo Mam J and May, is touring north Brooklyn in late May. On Friday May 22, find them at Land to Sea dishing out nam khao, a crispy rice salad, creamy khao soi, and Lao marinated chicken, from 5–8 PM, or check them out on May 23 and 24 at Greenpoint’s beloved cocktail bar Troost.
