Green-Wood Cemetery Forage Walk

On November 5th, from 12pm until 3pm we will walk in one of the most beautiful spaces in New York City – Green-Wood Cemetery. Far from sombre it is home to some of the city’s oldest and grandest trees and offers the kind of hills and dales we do not often see in the city.
The walk is three hours long (to account for some of those hills) and we will meet many trees with edible interest, as well as some mushrooms, if we are lucky. You never know with mushrooms. There will be a picnic, en route.
