According to the organizers:

Legendary SAIPUA head designer Deanna Nairns will guide students through the principles of floral arranging through discussion and demonstration– this class is formatted for both beginners and those wishing to develop their current skill set. Participants will be exposed to the foundational aspects of design: how to develop spacial depth, navigate color, texture and scale. Each student will choose from an indulgent flower buffet to create their own unique interpretation of the season. January’s floral composition will feature a radiant palette of citrus, poppies, forsythia, ranunuculus, anenomes, muscari, tulips, hyacinth and lisianthus.

Students will leave with their own arrangement along with the confidence to continue a flower practice on their own. All materials will be provided during the class including: flowers, vase and floral shears. A hypnotic playlist by Deanna will fuel our creativity, elixirs will be served.
