Dark Side of the Solstice: Dinner and a Movie, Part 2

June 21, 2017 @ 8:00 pm

According to the organizers:

On the evening of our Earth’s Solstice, franny’s will be audio streaming the one-hour radio play Darkside by Tom Stoppard. Examining the relationship between music and politics, in 2013, the British playwright Tom Stoppard wrote Darkside, a kind of comedy about moral philosophy based on Pink Floyd’s The Dark Side of the Moon in celebration of the 40th anniversary of this historic album.

After our “dinner & a movie” debut a few weeks ago, we have been so excited about creating a salon, of sorts, from our wine cellar. Following the thread of provocative conversation that we shared afterwards, we see this show as the perfect bridge in our thought process of where community spaces such as franny’s fits in our current society.

Simply make a 7:30 reservation and just let us know you will be joining us for Darkside.

The show will begin around 8pm.
