Bradley Farm and Brooklyn Museum Fall Field-to-Fork Dinner

According to the organizers:

New Paltz, NY’s Bradley Farm, known not only for high quality of its agricultural products, but for a series of on-site sold-out field-to-fork dinners prepared by high profile chefs in concert with owner (and former chef) Ray Bradley, will display its edible art in the Brooklyn Museum at The Norm on Sunday, Nov. 20 at 6 p.m.  It will be showcased in a four-course dinner prepared by Michelin-starred Saul Bolton, The Norm’s executive chef.  His menu for the Bradley Farm’s Night at the Museum Dinner will feature the farm’s Kabocha squash, pork – loin, belly and bacon – carrots, potatoes and sage.  Anything on the menu (such as goat cheese, rabbit, Brussels sprouts, apples, turnips and pumpkin) not grown by Bradley will be sourced from other New York State farms; among them, Katchkie Farm, which is owned Great Performances, the celebrated food service and catering company that operates The Norm. The Bradley Farm’s Night at the Museum Dinner at The Norm – the first  restaurant  the farm has collaborated with in Brooklyn for such an event –  is priced at $147 per person,  inclusive of  entrance to the museum (normally a $16 fee)  so attendees can explore one of the city’s most dynamic cultural  institutions before the dinner, welcome reception with passed canapés and wine,  tax and gratuity. 

For an additional $35 Bradley Farm’s Night at the Museum Dinner diners can savor a wine pairing with the three savory courses selected by Bruce Schneider of award-winning Schneider Vineyards on Long Island’s North Fork and the Gotham Project.  And The Brooklyn Roasting Company’s coffee will accompany the dessert of Wilkow Farms Apple Streusel Tart, spiced pumpkin sauce, house made buttered rum and walnut ice cream.
