ANTES w/ Mickey Perez (Bembe), DGRO, & Steve Weiss
September 7, 2018 @ 6:00 pm - September 8, 2018 @ 1:00 am
From our organizers:
After many attempts, we are happy to invite Bembe resident, Fania Records DJ, and all around Afro-Latin connoisseur, Mickey Perez, to join us on the decks for the September edition of ANTES. He’ll be joined by our resident, DGRO, and a special opening set of gem records selected by Steve Weiss, the guitarist from our favorite Brazilian-Samba-surf band, A Nave Espacial.
Come join us at Threes Brewing for an evening of dancing, drinks, and tasty food. Think: delicious beer and cocktails from Threes and friends as well as food from Meat Hook plus an awesome backyard, all easily accessible from the 2, 3, 4, 5, B, D, N, Q, and R trains. Come warm up for your late night plans or be in bed by midnight. #WorldFunk #NoCover
