If you like to have have your cake and a drink with it, too, then you should know about Brooklyn’s first cocktail and dessert bar: the appropriately named Butter & Scotch.
Last week, the ladies behind the new bar achieved their $50K fund-raising goal on Kickstarter. They’ll be able to sign a lease with these recently acquired funds and fast-track the opening of this new morning coffee, afternoon sugar-fix and/or evening nightcap spot.
If you think that you’ll have to wait until they open to sample their sweets, then think again; Butter & Scotch will join us this Wednesday at our What’s Cooking? Chefware Expo at the Brooklyn Brewery! They plan on sharing their pecan, pumpkin spice and s’mores pies while guests have the opportunity to browse local kitchenware crafts.
Suds, kitchenware and pie—sounds like bliss to us. We hope to see you there!
