In case the word hasn’t yet reached you, the folks here at Edible have been busy lately. We’ve been drumming up food trucks, local wines and dairy galore for these awesome upcoming events we’re sure you’ll enjoy.
On April 18th, food trucks will unite at the Brooklyn Brewery for the Drive-In Dinner. Where else can you get five courses of food truck eats paired with different brews from the Brooklyn Brewery for $40? Some of our favorite trucks–Bongo Brothers, Coolhaus, Feed Your Hole, the Red Hook Lobster Pound and the Morris Truck–will be there, feeding you Cuban sandwiches, ice cream sammies, Porky’s Dogs, Lobster BLTs and grilled cheese sandwiches. Get your tickets here.
We’re so excited about our current Dairy Issue that we are throwing a party to celebrate it. Join us on April 25th at Good Dairy, our festival of all things milk-based and delicious at Openhouse Gallery in Nolita from 6pm to 9pm. Brooklyn Gin will feature Brooklyn Gin Carbonated Collins, Murray’s Cheese is bringing a selection of cave-aged cheeses and The Chocolate Room will be dishing up fresh mint chip ice cream…and that’s just the tip of the cheese block! Tickets are only $25 and you can get them here.
On May 9th come on out for Brooklyn Uncorked–the wine bash to top all wine bashes–from 6pm to 9pm at One Hanson Place. In the spectacular space that is the former Williamsburgh Savings Bank, 60 vendors will be pouring some of New York state’s best wine, along with tasty fare from local chefs and foodmakers. Tickets are flying, so hurry up and get yours for $45 here.
